A 22-year veteran of the Memphis Fire Department is now serving as Little Rock's next Fire Chief.
Delphone Hubbard, 50, was selected from more than 56 candidates who applied since Chief Gregory Summers announced his retirement in August after more than eight years at the helm.
Chief Delphone D. Hubbard became the fourteenth Chief of the Little Rock Fire Department in January 2018. Prior to joining the Little Rock Fire Department he served for twenty-two (22) years with the City of Memphis (TN) Fire Services rising to the rank of Division Chief.
Chief Hubbard has a Bachelor’s Degree from LeMoyne-Owen College and an MBA from Webster University. He and his wife, Ttosha, have two adult daughters and a third daughter who attends Little Rock Public Schools.
